 Greetings!
Michelle, aka The Garden Elf, creates, builds, and
maintains wildlife friendly, organic, edible gardens.
She is a certified horticulturist and
a certified pruner.
Michelle has always enjoyed being outside. In her
youth she climbed trees, explored "the woods",
pulled weeds, raked (and jumped into piles of) leaves, and picked (and ate) fresh fruit from the garden.
Michelle started landscaping in 1989 and in 1992
she earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture from Washington State University. After working for landscape companies such as Hendrikus Schraven Landscape & D M Ohashi Landscape Services
plus serveral local nurseries, Michelle began
Garden Designz in 1999.
Michelle delights in the time she shares and assists others
with their gardens.
